The opening of Tim Hortons’ 300th Middle East store was a significant event, attended by prominent figures including Hesham Almekkawi, CEO of the Middle East division, Nilesh Ved, Chairman of AG Café, and Jean-Philippe Linteau, the Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The ambassador expressed pride in the Canadian brand’s success in the region, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC area, highlighting the deepening economic and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Canada.
This milestone is more than just a commercial success; it represents the strengthening bonds of cross-cultural exchange and the growing popularity of Canadian culinary offerings in the Middle East. Tim Hortons’ expansion into Saudi Arabia not only celebrates the quality of Canadian hospitality but also fosters a sense of unity, bringing a taste of Canada to the kingdom.
